Workshop Descriptions
Beginners Curtain Making
Make a single, lined curtain at this one day curtain making workshop. Learn about headings, mitred corners, and calculating fabric quantities. No previous experience necessary. Runs 10am – 3pm.
Cost £80
You just need to bring your main fabric, all other materials are provided. Lunch and refreshments included.
Make a Roman Blind
Make a small, lined Roman Blind at this one day Roman Blind making workshop. Learn about creating mitred corners, and calculating fabric quantities. No previous experience necessary. Runs 10am – 5pm.
Cost £95
You just need to bring your main fabric, all other materials are provided. Lunch and refreshments included.
One-to-one Tuition
Personal sewing tuition on a one-to-one basis. Choose a project of your choice, or learn new skills. Times flexible to suit.

Start Your Own Soft Furnishings Business –
5 Day Course
Covers setting up a workroom, suppliers, estimates, measuring up, calculating fabric quantities & fitting.
Learn how to make: a piped cushion (with zip fastener), a Machined Curtain, an Interlined Curtain with Hand Sewn Headings, a Roman Blind and a Pelmet.
Runs from Monday to Friday from 10am – 4pm.
Cost £450
Lunch, refreshments included. You just need to bring your main fabrics (5 x 1m plus any desired trimmings) all other materials provided.
Cushions - Learn to use your Sewing Machine
3 hour Workshop, where you will make a cushion with a zip. All materials included, refreshments provided. Runs 10am-1pm.

Advanced Curtain Making
2 Day Course from 10am -4pm.
Make an Interlined Curtain with Hand Sewn Headings. You will learn how to join widths of fabric and create hand sewn headings such as French Pleats/Triple Pinch Pleats, Goblets, and Box pleats.
Cost £185.
You just need to bring your main fabric, all other materials are provided. Lunch and refreshments included.
